Mood Media Corporation formerly known as Fluid Music Canada Inc., is a music delivery company. Their services include both in-store media (music, video, and scent) as well as in-store kiosks. They market their products through wholly owned operating subsidiaries, Mood Media, Trusonic and Somerset Entertainment. Lorne Abony is the CEO & Chairman.
Fluid Music had their Initial public offering in June 2008, on the Toronto Stock Exchange raising $27 million.
In the UK the company produces and broadcasts the in-store "Co-operative Radio" for The Co-operative Group[1] The company is not associated with Fluid Music Ltd in the UK, a music production company for television and online media.

Somerset is a producer and distributor of specialty music sold through non-traditional retailers. Somerset has a network of over 28,000 interactive displays in 18,500 locations in more than 20 countries, the type where customers push a button to listen to a CD in a kiosk.[2] In 2007, Somerset sold over 16 million records [3] and recorded revenue of $90.6 million and EBITDA of $20.5 million [4]. Somerset employs over 180 employees and has offices in Toronto, ON, Buffalo Grove, IL, Minneapolis, MN and Essex, UK[5].
Fluid announced the completion of its acquisition of Somerset on November 25, 2009 [6]. The acquisition valued Somerset Entertainment at $53.1 million dollars.
Founded in 1999, Trusonic Provides commercial music services to companies like Office Depot, JCPenney, and Panda Express[7]. They broadcast over 80 million songs monthly[8] through their proprietary music network. In addition to its licenses with major record labels, Trusonic's data base contains over 1.5 million emerging artist tracks.[9].
Fluid Music acquired Trusonic Inc. of La Jolla, Calif. on November 1, 2008[10].
In March, 2011, Mood Media acquired the American background music company Muzak Holdings.[11]
